Product Development Engineer

 Job Description:

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of product development, including design, development, testing, manufacturing, quality assurance, production, and inspection. Including generating CAD drawings, specifications, inspection instructions, user manuals, and technical documents.

• Develop new products to meet customer or market needs.

• Work with suppliers and customers on engineering, quality, and manufacturing, including problem-solving and drawing updates.

• Collaborate with quality and operations team members to ensure the new products can move into production smoothly.

• Provide engineering leadership for R&D projects in collaboration with engineers on project teams, including team members in customers and suppliers.

• Develop and implement product design changes to reduce cost and improve quality.

• Work closely with internal stakeholders to develop solutions that improve performance, and quality and reduce cost.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an R&D engineer or Product Engineer

• Must be familiar with SolidWorks.

• Strong analytical skills including problem-solving skills.

• Can work independently or with minimum supervision.

• Result Oriented and can complete work in a timely manner.

• Detail-oriented and able to work on multitasking.

• Self-motivated that can manage time efficiently, and complete work in a timely manner

• Bilingual preferred (English and Mandarin)
